With the all of the media hype about the glooming economy in the face of a recession, soaring gas prices, and food price increases, I want to remind you how easy it is to save on your purchases with the use of coupons. In the past I have talked about how much you can save with coupons, both with physical and online codes.
In the past week, I did some online shopping for the following items:
26” LCD Television from Amazon.com
1-year Dreamhost membership for this blog
Flowers for mother’s day
Before I purchased each item, I opened a new web browser and searched for “Amazon coupons codes”. Within seconds, I was able to quickly find free shipping on two of my orders and a $50 coupon for web hosting….These 3 searches saved me over $100 and all it required was one extra step in my online shopping routine. This represented about a 10% savings from the list prices and I will be including these savings in my blog savings account.
You can find a discount on pretty much any online merchant; all you have to do is dedicate the time to complete the search.
