EBAY Savings

This post represents another savings opportunity that I was able to capture with EBAY.  As you can see in my net worth log, I have been saving a nice chunk of change by using EBAY as my purchase point for everyday items.  I just recently won an auction where I saved about $40 dollars by buying a 32 razor blades vs. my normal purchase of 4 blades from the local Target store.  On EBAY, I was able to spend about $1.00 per blade which includes shipping vs. ~ $2.50 per blade at the retailer stores.

Not sure how the EBAY sellers capture these deals and I am not sure if I care, as long as I can keep finding these deals I am happy. The other thing is that I continue to improve my EBAY rating with every purchase, a small intangible going into the future…

So in these recessionary times, don’t forget to plan accordingly and utilize EBAY for some great savings. I will deposit this $40 into my blog account.

I, too, use eBay to save on some of my normal purchases. But, is it safe to say that you’ve given up on the eBay affiliate program? I don’t even see your link for gift card deals anymore.
