Position Closed: XLF sold @ $11.47 per share

After finishing one of my previous posts on the dividend recieved from XLF, exiting this position was under significant consideration.  With only a 2.5% forward dividend yield, there was a small probability of this value increasing (aside from the stock price from falling).  With a double digit performance and positive alpha created, I decided to close my position in my real money account on July 6th by selling the 53 shares of XLF at $11.47 per share.

Here are the summary metrics of this trade:

Gross Gain / (Loss): $107.06

Commissions: ($21.90)

Dividends: $3.21

Net Gain / Loss: $88.37 or 17.3% (amount will be deposited into my net worth account)

S&P Gain / Loss: $8.79%

Alpha: 8.48%

This amount will be converted to cash in my brokerage account as I decided which equity to invest my balance into.
